Who Can Register?

WVC presents scientific and practice relevant information to members of the veterinary profession and supporting paraprofessionals. The Conference is not open to the general public. The Conference reserves the right to determine attendance and participation of non-veterinarians.
Veterinarians are welcome to attend the Conference regardless of their licensure status, employment status, or school of graduation. (A graduate veterinarian must register as a veterinarian.)
Veterinary Technicians, Veterinary Assistants, Administrative Staff, Practice Managers, and other Paraprofessionals are eligible to attend the Conference. Administrative staff must be employed in a veterinary facility. Minimum registration age is 18 years for all categories.
DVM Students: Registration is open to U.S. and International DVM Students. Registration fee is $35 (full Conference). Online and onsite registration available. Badges will be printed onsite after current school ID has been presented at the Special Services counter. DVM Student badges will not be mailed. The $35 fee does not apply to interns or residents. Hands-on Labs, Workshops, and Lunch & Learn sessions are not available to students.
Veterinary Technician Students: Registration is available for second-, third-, and fourth-year Veterinary Technician Students enrolled in
AVMA -accredited veterinary technician training programs in the U.S. and Canada. The registration fee for Veterinary Technician Students is $35 (full Conference). Registration deadline is January 31, 2012. Online and onsite registration is NOT available for Veterinary Technician Students. A letter from the program director confirming current enrollment as a second-, third-, or fourth-year student must accompany the Registration Form. The form can be faxed to 702.739.6420 or mailed to WVC at PO Box 50755, Henderson, NV 89016. Hands-on Labs, Workshops, and Lunch & Learn sessions are not available to students.
Guest Registration Policy: Access to Guest Program (Monday-Wednesday), Guest Lounge, Exhibit Hall, Health & Fitness Program (Monday -Wednesday), social activities, and Sunday, Tuesday, and Wednesday night entertainment events. DOES NOT include access to any scientific session. Guests who wish to attend the Scientific Program lectures must purchase an additional badge, registering in the appropriate category. Limit one Guest badge per primary registrant. Family members and other guests may attend the Sunday, Tuesday, and Wednesday night entertainment events without a badge when accompanied by a badged WVC registrant.
Child Policy (Under the age of 18): Children under the age of 18 do not require a badge. A child may enter the Exhibit Hall and entertainment events if accompanied by a badged adult. Children under the age of 18 are not permitted in any scientific sessions, the Guest Program, Guest Lounge, or Health & Fitness Programs.
