Dr. Craig Griffin
Dr. Craig Griffin is a graduate of Cornell University and completed his residency at UC Davis in 1980. Dr. Griffin is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Dermatology (ACVD), has served on the Board of Directors and examination committee for the ACVD and was the President of the ACVD in 1999/2000. He also served as president of the American Academy of Veterinary Dermatology and of the WVC 74th Annual Conference. Dr. Griffin is the founder and co-owner of Animal Dermatology Clinic.
Dr. Griffin is a frequent lecturer and clinical instructor of veterinary dermatology in this country and abroad. He has published many articles and books on small animal skin disease, including co-author of Muller and Kirks Small Animal Dermatology 5th -7th editions and co-editor of Current Veterinary Dermatology, The Science and Art of Therapy. Dr. Griffin received the ACVD Award for Excellence for outstanding contributions in veterinary dermatology in 2001-2014.
Participants who take part in the WVC CE portion of the cruise will receive 14 CE Hours. Courses will take place at sea, and will not conflict with docking and experiencing different ports. You will be traveling on the Celebrity Solstice.

1. Please call Expedia Cruise Ship Centers at 702.720.1880 to book your cruise. Other stateroom categories may be available please discuss with Expedia if interested. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday 10a to 6p (PST), and Saturday 10a to 3p (PST); ask for Linda or Morgan. WVC requires at least one occupant from each stateroom to register for CE coursework.

Morning arrival in Ketchikan; a day to explore and departure at 4:00p.

Shuttles fill up quickly during this season. WVC urges you to book your transportation early if using a shuttle service. Celebrity Cruises departs from Pier 91.
Celebrity Cruises offers round trip transfers for $54.00 per person. The last Celebrity airport shuttle departs at 12:30p.
Taxi service is also available for approximately $46.00 each way.
Parking is available at 2001 W Garfield St, Seattle, WA 98119. The current rate is $21.31 plus tax per day up to 7 days. Receive a $1 per day discount if you prepay online.

Terms of Registration
WVC requires at least one occupant from each stateroom to be registered for the CE course.
Terms of Payment
WVC Destination CE Course fees must be paid in full by mail or fax (702-739-6420) at the time of enrollment. Should you wish to pay by check, please make check payable to Western Veterinary Conference and mail check and registration form to P.O. Box 50755, Henderson, NV 89016.
Cancellation by WVC
WVC reserves the right to cancel courses at any time due to inadequate enrollment. Every effort will be made to notify participants as early as possible of a course cancellation. A full refund of the course registration fee will be issued to the participant in a timely manner. All fees and charges paid to Expedia® cruiseshipcenters® are the sole responsibility of the participant.
Cancellation by Registrant
Any participant wishing to cancel their registration for the Destination CE course must make the request in writing by email, fax, or mail by July 6, 2017. A $250.00 cancellation fee will be applied. Course cancellations after July 6, 2017 are nonrefundable.
Participants must cancel the cruise portion through Expedia® cruiseshipcenters® separately.
WVC may release your contact information to sponsoring companies. As an attendee, your image may be captured and used for future promotional purposes.
Who can register?
The CE portion of the cruise is for veterinarians only.
Graduate Veterinarians: Graduate veterinarians are welcome to register, regardless of their licensure status, employment status, or school of graduation.
How many CE hours are offered?
14 hours of continuing education are offered.
Will there be a CE Certificate? How will I receive it?
Yes. The CE Certificate will be emailed to you after the cruise and can be found in your WVC account.
Will I need to bring my passport?
We strongly encourage all passengers to travel with a passport that is valid for at least six months after August 11, 2017. U.S. Citizens who do not have a valid passport must provide the following proof of citizenship: Original certified birth certificate (w/raised seal) from the state/province of their birth together with a current and valid government issued photo identification, such as a driver’s license. U.S. citizens may also present a U.S. Passport Card. Neither oral nor written declarations of citizenship will be accepted.
What is included in my cruise fare?
The Veranda Stateroom package includes:

Is the cruise fare per person?
The Veranda stateroom fare is per person based on double occupancy and includes drink and meal packages, gratuities and taxes.
Travel to and from Seattle is not included in fare.
