GENERAL POLICY

WVC understands the importance of safeguarding your personal information. We take extensive measures to ensure the safety and security of our Web site servers and the information contained on them.

We do not release your contact information for outside non-exhibiting commercial use; however, your name, address, phone, fax, and e-mail address will be encoded on your conference badge. Distribution of this information is at your sole discretion during your visits to the Exhibit Hall. Your name and mailing address will be provided to WVC exhibiting companies that are also sponsoring scientific programs or hand-on laboratories. You may opt out from receiving this information or other exhibit show specials and promotions by clicking the appropriate box at the time of registration. You may also opt out of having your e-mail address encoded on your badge.

WVC ONLINE POLICY

For each visitor to our Web pages, our Web server automatically recognizes only the consumer’s domain name, but not his/her email address (where possible).

Credit Card Transactions:
Credit card information will be used by the WVC solely as authorized by the sender and will not be used in any other manner or shared with any third party except as needed to conduct the requested transaction. The Western Veterinary Conference discourages sending credit card information via email.

Security:
The WVC uses current secure socket layer (SSL) encryption, uses firewalls, performs frequent updates to security and virus-protection software. It stores any personal information collected online on a secure offline server that is not accessible from the Internet.

Ad Servers:
We do not partner with or have special relationships with any ad server companies.

Changes to the WVC General & Online Privacy Notice:
WVC reserves the right to modify its general and online policy at any time as it deems necessary. From time to time, we may use attendee information for new, unanticipated uses not previously disclosed in our privacy notice.
