General Information:

• The 83rd Annual Western Veterinary Conference will be held February 20 – 24, 2011, at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, Las Vegas, Nevada
• The 2010 Annual Conference attracted more than 13,000 visitors
• The goal of the Annual Conference is to provide comprehensive, progressive and practical continuing education for veterinary practitioners and paraprofessionals
• WVC contains more than 1,000 hours of continuing education with top teachers in state-of-the-art, fully equipped labs, including:

1. More than 40 focused symposia
2. Approximately 40 hands-on labs and workshops in a state-of-the-art fully equipped facility
3. Networking with more than 6,000 veterinarians and 2,000 veterinary technicians and practice managers
4. More than 440 leading exhibitors showcasing the latest products and services
5. Western Veterinary Conference is an American Association of Veterinary State Boards Registry of Approved Continuing Education (AAVSB RACE) Provider and a non-profit organization.
6. WVC owns and operates the Oquendo Center for Clinical Education in Las Vegas. Conference hands-on labs are held at this state-of-the-art venue. The Oquendo Center is a year-round facility for medical and veterinary education, and a site for special events.
