Press Credentials & Guidelines

Complimentary badges are given at the discretion of the Western Veterinary Conference. WVC reserves the right to approve, deny, or rescind press badges at any time during the conference.

Who qualifies for a press badge at WVC?

Press registration shall be complimentary for working press or journalists for the sole purpose of gathering news for their publications
Publications must be animal health, livestock, or consumer pet/animal related. Advertising sales are not permitted except in the context of a commercial exhibitor’s booth
There shall be no more than three complimentary registrations per approved company
WVC requests complimentary subscriptions to the respective publications
Photo ID and business card may be requested by WVC

Who does not qualify for a press badge at WVC?

Public relations representatives must register as “exhibitor personnel” if their clients are confirmed participants in the trade show. Please check with the client directly to order a badge. Public relations representatives not working with an exhibitor may register for a one-day-exhibits-only badge, or as administrative staff if you wish to receive CE credits
Writers and publishers of personal or corporate newsletters
Family members of approved media personnel

Deadlines & Other Information:

Request for a press badge applications are required in writing by January 31, 2012.
Requests received after January 31, 2012 may be subject to the regular registration fee.
All press must be pre-registered for the conference to receive complimentary registration.
A press room will be available on-site. It contains computer work stations with Internet access and printers.
