This course is designed for veterinarians who ultrasound animals at least once every other week. The course will review basic physics, but most of the course time will emphasize abnormalities found within the abdomen. Minimal time will be spent on the use of the ultrasound machine, instead, scanning techniques and pathology will be the focus of this course. By the end of this course, you should have the ability to do a complete ultrasound examination and recognize routine pathology.
The purpose of this 3-day laboratory series is to provide in-depth knowledge and adequate time to expand the sonographers skill set.
